Four-Season Accent Planter | Whitehaven

Our client wanted to add a planter at their front entrance that would do more than simply add greenery.

They wanted additional privacy at the entryway, some protection for the railing from the elements, and a dedicated space where they could rotate seasonal plants throughout the year.

Our Recommendation

We recommended a clean, permanent planter built with Groupe Richer M-100 wall blocks and beige coping.

The materials were selected to complement the existing hardscape and architecture of the home, with the goal of making the new planter feel like it had always belonged there.

The Installation

We built the planter alongside the existing entrance, creating a defined planting area that adds both height and separation without overwhelming the space.

Its simple design provides a neutral backdrop that allows the homeowners to change their plantings with the seasons.

The Result

The new planter adds privacy, helps shelter the railing from the elements, and creates a welcoming focal point at the entrance.

More importantly, it feels intentional, not like something that was added years after the home was built. Now, our clients look forward to refreshing the planter with new seasonal plantings throughout the year.
