Not always. If your existing pavers are still in good condition, we can often repair settled areas, clean the surface and re-joint it to give the hardscape a new life without replacing everything.

As a general guideline, lift-and-re-level work typically ranges from $14–$22 per sq. ft., while pressure washing and re-jointing typically ranges from $3–$6 per sq. ft.

We can make a significant improvement, but restoration doesn't turn old material into new material. Some fading, staining, chips and natural wear may remain, and are often part of the character of an older hardscape.

Settlement can result from base movement, drainage issues, erosion, freeze-thaw cycles or the original installation. We'll assess the area to determine the most appropriate repair.

We stand behind the work we perform. However, when we're repairing interlock over an existing base that we didn't construct, we cannot warranty future movement caused by that original base or underlying soil conditions.

However, we do offer a 3-year workmanship warranty on all of our new installations.

Whenever possible, we recommend rerouting downspouts underneath or alongside the walkway to direct water safely away from the hardscape. This eliminates the need to step over exposed downspouts, creates a cleaner finished look, and helps protect the integrity of the hardscape for decades to come.

Our systems are designed to allow water to drain rather than remain trapped in the pipe. Proper slope, a suitable outlet and keeping the system clear of debris all help reduce the risk of freezing.
