Interlock Driveway & Walkway Restoration | Whitehaven
Our client reached out looking to restore his existing interlock walkway and driveway, which had become uneven and weathered over time. Rather than replacing the entire hardscape, we saw an opportunity to bring new life to the existing stonework while preserving its original character.
Our Recommendation
We recommended a complete hardscape restoration, including lifting and re-laying the existing interlock, correcting uneven areas, and adjusting the grading to improve surface drainage.
As part of the restoration, we also recommended extending the driveway skirt by two feet, creating a more generous transition between the driveway and walkway while maintaining a cohesive design throughout the property.
By reusing the original pavers, we could preserve the established character of the landscape while improving both the appearance and functionality of the space.
The Result
A beautifully refreshed hardscape that blends seamlessly with the surrounding mature landscaping. The restored walkway and driveway now feature more consistent grading, improved drainage, and a cleaner, more uniform appearance.
The additional two-foot driveway extension provides a more spacious transition, complementing the existing curves and natural flow of the property.
A complete transformation that demonstrates how professional hardscape restoration can enhance both the beauty and functionality of an outdoor space without starting from scratch.
