A Day in the Life of a Canadian Sugarmaker Presentation

Overview

Students actively participate in our maple syrup presentations through age-appropriate volunteer roles. These include identifying maple trees by their physical features, predicting the colour of sap, and assisting with tapping a real tree.

Our sessions are customized by age group, with many schools choosing separate primary and junior presentations to better match student readiness and language levels.

Each presentation finishes with a maple syrup tasting!

An optional upgrade includes maple taffy (also referred to as “maple lollipops”) on ice, served indoors using our refrigerated ice table. This allows us to stay longer and ensures all students and staff can enjoy the experience comfortably, regardless of weather.

Chaque présentation se termine par une dégustation de sirop d’érable, un moment toujours très apprécié!

Pour une expérience encore plus mémorable, une option tire d’érable sur glace est offerte. Servie à l’intérieur grâce à notre table réfrigérée, elle permet à tous d’en profiter confortablement, peu importe la température extérieure.
